I have always wanted to try and make crochet lady and now finally made one. :)

Potholders

We got back from our vacation. Made these two simple potholders. I have made similar ones before and they work well in the kitchen. Much better than the store bought ones.

I got my hat done. You can wear it both ways.

Kraftsplace It still needs work to make it look nice but I already put few things on sale. I am working on one hat. Made a snowman today also and we did some other christmas ornaments with Henri the other day.

Scarecrow

Henri has a Pumpkin walk and scarecrow fest at school today and he had to either make a scarecrow or decorate a pumpkin. I wanted to buy a scarecrow from Michaels but they do not sell anything much for Halloween or even Thanksgiving. It is all about Christmas even though Christmas is couple of months away. So we had to make one and this is how it turned out.

Getting Ready for Halloween

We did not used to celebrate Halloween but since Henri is bigger now and has all the Halloween activities at school, we also decorate at home and usually go to the Zoo to celebrate. I started to sell crafts in one of the local stores in SC and made these pears for sale.

Food post for a change

This pasta is what Henri had for lunch on Tuesday and I had some soup. Next day I still had some pasta left so I made a small salad out of it. Yesterday I had a small salad and crisp bread with some fish pate and Henri had tamarind rice with orange chicken. We went to Chinese place the previous evening and some was left over. They did not put any veggies in there so it got a makeover for lunch. I added veggies too.

I am still staying in extended stay. Hopefully we can move into the house next week. Mean time I have started to do snowflakes. Here are some I made yesterday. I am thinking of designing some also.
