Apple Cake

Here is the apple cake I usually make. It needs two eggs, one and half cup of sour cream, one cup of sugar, three cups of flour, 100 grams of butter and a pinch of salt and baking soda. Sliced apples go on top of the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar
and bake it in the oven at 400 ºF.

Almost done.

I wanted to make mittens for Henri but since He doesn't let me try them on him so it is hard to guess if it would come out the right size. These are too big so I have to make one more pair.

Things I am working on right now.

I started a vest for Henri and already finished it but it came too big. I have forgotten few things about knitting. I will try to make another vest or sweater some time later. Now I am crocheting a plastic bag holder and I have to do some kitchen items for Christmas Kitchen Swap I signed up for. Once I am done with the bag holder I would like to learn how to do a Tunisian crochet.I will refer to this book:

SOS 2007 Day 74

One more pair of socks is done.This time it took me a long time to finish it. I used Lion Brand worsted weight yarn and 1.5 mm needles.

Things I am working on right now.

It seems that time goes so fast and I do not have much spare time to work on my craft projects. Usually all my time goes to playing with Henri. If I try to do something he will start climbing up and down on me, pulling the yarns etc...He lets me do more stuff now than before.
Right now I am working on my third pair of socks and I have to make some more elephants and other animal families. I also want to finish my summer top and basket with grapes is almost ready. I have made some items for the autumn/halloween secret pal swap too. Will show the pictures once I have sent it.

My first socks this summer will be simple but nice. The yarn is Patons Decor ( 75% Acrylic and 25% Wool). I do not have any pattern. Will just make one pair like I learnt it in school.

My First Project.

My first project will be to finish all the unfinished projects.

1. Winnie Pooh for Henri. Has to be ready by Thursday.
2. Summer top for me. It is almost done.
3. Mittens for Kiran. One is done and one more to do.
4. Basket with grapes. Almost done.
5. A big white tablecloth is also almost done. Have to buy some more thread for that.

Hopefully all these will be ready before June.
